Author Spotlight & Next Week’s Reading List

Hi, everyone! It’s a new week! I’ve got to work all day, but don’t worry! I’m still going to get stuff done! Sunday’s are pretty slow at my job, so I can read and write and edit, so long as no customers are in there. πŸ˜€ I’ve got a lot to work on, so that will be fun! πŸ˜€

Anyway! I’m sure ya’ll are much more interested in today’s author spotlight. So for that I give you…

William J. Cook!

William Cook is a Connecticut native transplanted to Oregon in 1989. He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany, where he received his Master’s Degree in Social Work. He spent 37 years as a mental health therapist, and he is now enjoying his retirement with his artist wife.

Gotta love a guy who spent nearly 4 decades help people with mental health issues! πŸ˜€ ❀ And here are a couple of his books! πŸ˜€ these sound super cool!

Seal of Secrets: A Driftwood Mystery (The Driftwood Mysteries Book 1) by [Cook, William]

The sleepy coastal town of Driftwood, Oregon, is about to be awakened by big-city crime.

An ex-convict by the name of Raven is on a rampage.

After killing two convenience store clerks, he kidnaps Kaitlynn, adolescent daughter of Chloe Denhurst. As Chloe works frantically to save her daughter’s life, she discovers that the man she loves shares a terrible secret with the kidnapper.

A twisted web of betrayal, revenge, and murder, leading to a heart-pounding confrontation on the Yaquina Bay Bridge.

Woman in the Waves: A Driftwood Mystery (The Driftwood Mysteries Book 3) by [Cook, William]

In a heartbeat, Professor Peter Bristol’s obsessively-ordered life is turned completely upside down.

During his weekly walk on the beach, he is helpless to prevent a young woman in a bridal gown from being swept out to the sea.

Was she real? Or was she the product of unresolved grief for his late wife?

As he embarks upon a mission to find the answers, he uncovers a plot of murder and deceit at the university where he teaches–a nexus of evil far deeper and darker than anything he could have imagined.

The woman in the waves was only the beginning.

Cool huh? πŸ˜€ These are totally on my ever growing too read list! ❀

You can checkout more of his books and follow him on Goodreads.
