Hey, everyone! I’m back!
I swear, I’m alive and kicking! Haven’t posted for a few days, I know. My dog got sick, and I had some family stuff to do, so I’ve been busy. but there’s just few more days until Halloween, and I’ve got to share some scary books. 😀 ❤
For today’s post, I’ll be sharing a very author spotlight for a friend. And a special review. 😀 My Facebook friend Samuel Gali asked me to read and review his Halloween book, and I have delivered. 😀 Along with sharing a bit about his other book and his author bio.
He’s a brand new author from all the way over in Nigeria. 😀 Super far from me, sitting over here in Oklahoma. Isn’t the internet cool? I can have friends all the way across the world with out leaving my house.
😀 He’s got two books out so far! 😀 Congrats, my friend! ❤
here’s his author bio from Amazon:
Samuel Gali is a Nigerian horror writer and reader, new to the world of publishing. He has been writing short stories since he was in high school, and he still does. Writing stories seem to come naturally to him, and he published his first book, Kill Once, Die Twice, recently on Amazon. He is presently working on a Halloween story to celebrate.
(I don’t think he has anything else to say)
And here’s a picture of his first book’s cover for everyone to admire:
Check it out if ya’ll like zombies! 😀
And! The cover for the subject of today’s review:
Now! Time for my reivews of Halloween Horrors!
3 stars! 😀
I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review. 😀 3 starts!
It’s almost Halloween! And we all know what that means! Scary Story Overload Time! 😀 A little rocky, but I liked this! 😀 It was fun. For a new writer, this was pretty good! A bit of practice, and I think the writer can go places!
This book tells 4 little stories. They’re all very creative, connected, and all are about the Halloween Horrors. Spooky monster/demons who are coming to get you on Halloween! And let’s all just take a moment to admire that description of the book! 😀 That’s really good!
It’s a very fun idea, and as a horror lover and a writer of several of my own short stories, it’s something I can totally get behind. I LOVE short stories! 😀
My favorites were the first two stories, about Big George and his neighbor across the street. (the first story gets extra points for mentioning Harry Potter. 😀 lol. Harry Potter is one of my favorite series ever!) 😀 I thought those two were the creepiest, but each little story has its own charm. Recommended reading for people looking for a quick little Halloween treat.
Be sure and check his books out! Gotta support new authors. 😀 ❤ Happy Reading, Everyone! I’ll try and be back tomorrow with another review of something spooky, but no promises!
Love Lennie! ❤
