Hello, readers and blog followers. 🙂 It’s been a while, hasn’t it? Honestly, I’m just really bad at keeping a decent schedule for this things, aren’t I? Ugh. What can I say? Adulting is hard. It’s not a very good excuse, but it’s true.
Anyway!
I have a couple of short horror stories I read recently, and I thought you all might be interested in them. 🙂
The first one is…
Pretty When You Sleep: A Creepy Little Bedtime Story
This thing is short, (because of course it is! I love reading short stories!) but boy is it terrifying! Seriously. I was so, so creeped out by this.
My rating: 5 stars! 🙂 My review for Goodreads was super short, just like the book. 🙂 Short, but completely terrifying. Just my kind of story! 🙂 See? That was the whole review. I was super tired when I wrote it, so it didn’t get very complex did it? But really, it is so worth a read! And it’s only $0.99! You’ve got a dollar to spare, right? ❤
Heck, while you’re at it, grab a few of my books too! I have a cat to feed! ❤
I also read another short story. This one was only about 994, so it’s technically flash fiction. And ya’ll know I love flash fiction!
This one was….
A Charming Neighbour
It’s free on Amazon right now, which is always a plus! Who doesn’t like free stuff! ❤ I won’t give anything away, since It’s only about a thousand words, but I will say that I loved it. Maybe not as much as “Pretty When You Sleep” but this was still great.
5 stars!
My review from Goodreads is once again, really tiny. Just three words, in fact: I loved this! Is that weird? That sometimes I only do a few words on book reviews? I can’t help it. I do a lot of my reading right before bed, and I get really tired. I do work two day jobs after all. 3 if you coun’t writing, which totally counts. But sometimes, I’m just too tired to right much more than a very basic thought.
Doesn’t mean that I didn’t love the heck out of it. Just that I need a more manageable sleeping and working schedule. lol.
Thanks for reading! I’ll try to be back soon with more reviews and other bookish stuff, but no promises! Happy Reading! Love, Lennie! ❤
